Arncliffe railway station is on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line, in the southern suburb of Arncliffe. This is one of the original buildings on Platform 3 and 4, built in 1884 and extended in 1923.

It is nice and boutique
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool bit of history! It's awesome to see an original station building still standing and in use from way back in 1884. Love that old architecture.

Are people still travelling by train now as much as they were when Arncliffe was first built and then extended after WW1. I hope so.
ReplyDeleteI would say so. There are more people in the suburb these days and many people work or study in different parts of the city.
