This is the main entrance to the Myer department store on the corner of George Street and Market Street. The store celebrated the annual Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival, which ran from 13 February to 1 March 2026, with rainbow flag colours decorating their store sign and the stairs inside the entrance.

ReplyDeleteTHanks for sharing with #Allseasons
ReplyDeleteI’m not homophobic nor anti anything you identify as BUT I will not be endorsing, recommending or for that matter shopping at a major store chain that clearly has made a major statement for the 3-4% minority. Shareholders money being spent on signage that is supposed to make people feel “safe and inclusive”. Go Woke Go Broke Myer.
ReplyDeleteBut in fact, you sound very homophobic with this comment. The Mardi Gras Festival brings all people together to celebrate inclusion and diversity. Nobody is going broke by supporting it. Businesses know that it brings lots of people and dollars to Sydney every year so they are keen to be involved. That's why it gets bigger every year.
