Luna Park, Vivid Sydney, Phantasos
"Phantasos" is a display of colour, light and music involving the Ferris Wheel at Luna Park, in the north shore suburb of Milson's Point. This five minute spectacle illuminates more than 3,000 individual LED lights, as part of Vivid Sydney festival.

Luna Park, Vivid Sydney, Spirit of Fun
"Spirit of Fun" is a son et lumière or a sound and light show on the facade of Coney Island at Luna Park in the north shore suburb of Milson's Point. This animated light projection was created by Electric Canvas, as part of Vivid Sydney festival and celebrates the history and magic of the amusement park, open since 1935.

The Rocks, Vivid Sydney, Earth
"Earth" is an artwork suspended from the Overseas Passenger Terminal for the Vivid Sydney festival. It fuses detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface with a composition of cosmic sounds, hoping to create the sense of awe and wonder experienced by astronauts as they view our planet from outer space. The work measures 3.75 metres in diameter and was created by British artist Luke Jerram with a surround-sound composition by composer Dan Jones.

It was created by Australian Glenn Turner from Oracle Liquid and celebrates an environment where bio-luminescent creatures live deep beneath the ocean.

The Rocks, Vivid Sydney, Illuminosaurus
This illuminated artwork is located at Atherden Street, near the corner of Playfair Street at The Rocks, as part of the Vivid Sydney festival, which runs from 25 May to 16 June, 2018. "Illuminosaurus" is a 3 metre high dinosaur, captured in a moment of fierce pursuit. It was designed by Australian artist Adrienn Lord in collaboration with Richard Neville and Nick Sheen from the UK.

The Rocks, Australian Steamship Navigation Company Building, Vivid Sydney
This animated light projection is on the Australian Steamship Navigation Company Building along Circular Quay West at The Rocks, as part of the Vivid Sydney festival. "Mystery Gateau" was created by Network Ten with animation studio Mighty Nice Australia and shows characters building a birthday cake, which celebrates two milestones: the 10th anniversary of Vivid Sydney and 10 years of the internationally renowned cooking show MasterChef Australia.

Jesse Street Gardens, Vivid Sydney, Synergy
This illuminated artwork is located at Jesse Street Gardens, along Loftus Street at Circular Quay, as part of the Vivid Sydney festival, which runs from 25 May to 16 June, 2018. "Synergy" is a large plywood tree surrounded by similarly stylised ferns which represents complex superorganisms in nature. It was created by Australian artists Jun Ji Moey, Tsz Kin Liu, Jane Fan, Jonathan Hribar and Christie Wong in collaboration with Jeremy Low, Jason Chu, Emily Chan, Yuen Chan, Andy Zheng, Anthony Feizi-Sobbi, Dylan Goh, Mahima Mandal, Kevin Yu and MAKE Club University of New South Wales.

Botanic Gardens, The Calyx
"Pollination" is a flower exhibit at The Calyx, an indoor and outdoor exhibition space at the Royal Botanic Garden. The colourful garden beds feature orchids, daisies, gardenias and lilies. The green wall stands at 6 metres high and spans 50 metres and features dicondra, syngonium and heuchera, planted to form the word Pollination.

Paddington, Four in Hand Hotel
The Four in Hand Hotel is located on the corner of Sutherland Street and Elizabeth Street, in the inner city suburb of Paddington. This historic hotel has been the subject of plans to convert it into a private residence. Following protests from local residents, the local council has placed a conservation order on the building and applied for a heritage listing to save it.

Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney Super Dome
The Sydney Super Dome is a large multipurpose arena located at Sydney Olympic Park, at Homebush Bay. It was completed in 1999 as part of the facilities for the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics, It is currently known as the Qudos Bank Arena and hosts many concerts and events.

Camperdown Cemetery, St Stephen's Anglican Church
Camperdown Cemetery is a historic cemetery located along Church Street in the inner city suburb of Newtown. St Stephen's Anglican Church is located within the present bounds of the cemetery. It was designed by Edmund Blacket and built in 1874 in the Gothic Revival architectural style.

Circular Quay, ferries
These ferries have simultaneously reversed back from the Circular Quay ferry wharves, spun around and are heading towards Sydney Harbour, passing the apartments at East Circular Quay. The Sydney RiverCats are a class of catamarans operated by Harbour City Ferries on the Parramatta River from Circular Quay to Parramatta.

Sydney Town Hall
Some interesting cloud patterns in an autumn sky above Sydney Town Hall. The heritage listed building was designed by John H. Wilson and completed in 1889 in the Grand Victorian Second Empire architectural style. It has had continual use as the offices of the local council of the City of Sydney and as the city's civic and cultural centre.
