Coogee, sundial

This sundial in Dunningham Reserve at Coogee with a view of the Pacific Ocean was dedicated to W.A. Inglis ("Sam") in 1940. It is located on Dolphin Point, just above the Coogee Baths rockpools and north of Coogee Beach.

  1. You had beautiful weather the day you took these shots. Sculpture by the Sea starts soon (possibly today).

  3. Who was WA Inglis and how does one get called Sam from that.

I would love to see you BOTH do parts of SbyS and have a different approach. That would be cool.

Yep checked it up: 29 October to 15 November.

  4. It's a mystery Julie. I struggled to find any information about W.A. 'Sam' Inglis. Nothing in Randwick City Council History and Google was not my friend in this case. :)
