What a delightful statue! Love his costume! And you do have the bluest of blue skies!! Awesome capture for the day, Jim! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!Sylvia
You do have clear blue skies. Not too often do we have such clear skies, always seem to have clouds somewhere (even though we are the sunshine state). We are sunny but with clouds!Nice shot, I like the angle to get a look at the blue sky!
The King looks good in his new outfit.
What a great idea! I have never seen statues dressed up.
Oh dear, even the horse got leggings! Great capture against that blue sky, Jim.
Ohhhhh, la statua di re Edward è molto bella.... rappresenta un'epoca passata... ma le calze colorate del cavallo sono decisamente fantastiche !Dove sono state comperate ?Ah ah ah buona serata :))Myriam
I love how the artist has caught the energy of the horse and especially the movement in the main.

Hiya,What a fun idea to spruce up a statue with a bit of colour like that. Was that knitted bridge I saw in anothr blog also in your neck of the woods?
morememes, I haven't seen a knitted bridge in Sydney. You've got me intrigued.
Ace! It reminds me of when guerrilla knitters hit Brisbane earlier in the year.
Thanks, cara. The knitters in Brisbane is probably what morememes was talking about.
At the very least, he looks regal.
Nice to see it "keeps up with time". Made it friendly a sight. Please have a good and peaceful Friday.daily athens
The blue sky in the background is a beautiful blue. Also I like the horses socks. Someone has a sense of humor.
Gotta love those socks on the horse, while wondering how they were put on.Love the blue sky, too.Kay, Alberta
What fun. Almost all statues get drab after a while. Nice idea to dress them up for a short while.
Quite an elaborate dress, and I love the blue sky, something we never see enough of.Have a happy week-endB.
