Sydney Life is a photographic exhibition, which is part of the Art & About Sydney festival. There were 500 entries in Sydney Life, which show the many sides of the city of Sydney. These large scale images of the 22 finalists are currently being displayed on canvas in the leafy central walkway in Hyde Park.
Cool way to display photos! Sydney's silly Sally displayed the "swimmers by the pool" picture on her CDP blog several days ago.

These are great!. Thanks for showing us.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful idea! I would love to see it in person.
ReplyDeleteInteresting way to show the photos. These are all very good.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the flowers that bloom in the spring, tra-la!!
ReplyDeleteThis Art and About Festival is a marvelous thing. Lots of opportunity for all the Sydney bloggers.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see how each of us cover the same things. If anyone is up in Paddington there are a couple of really good exhibitions on at the Australian Centre for Photography - one is world press photos, the other an extraordinary retrospective of Stephen Dupont's work in Afghanistan, harrowing but wonderful if you are into photojournalism.
ReplyDeleteWell done Jim, I am putting my favourite up tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteSydney has such a vibrant arts scene! Thanks for showing this part to us.
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic, Jim!! Thank you so much for sharing them with us! I was beginning to wonder where you were!!! I, too, would love to see this in person!! Have a great week!
