Cronulla, Oak Park Pool

A sunny Autumn day at the rock pool on the edge of Oak Park, in the southern suburb of Cronulla. Oak Park Pool, also known as Glaisher Point Baths, provides protected swimming from the Pacific Ocean waves.

  1. I have seen photos of rock pools like this before, but never knew why they were built. Looks gorgeous.

  2. Beautifully shown Jim, a great spot for young families. The no worrying about sharks makes it a goer for me!

  5. How perfect for the kids. I remember one summer our hotel had a sandbar that created a little pool for my children when they were quite young. It was perfect! They loved playing without worrying about being knocked over by the waves, and I didn't worry about sharks!
