What a great photo!
Terrific contrast. Love the composition of the image. We recently had the same experience seeing the Norwegian Christian Radich docked in St. Maarten, Dutch West Indies, next to the cruise ship Freedom of the Seas. Quite a comparison!
Agreed.. Terrific contrast!I am full of admiration for people who go to sea in the tall ships, but my personal preference is for a luxury cruise ship :)
A great capture Jim of two very different vessels with the sails if the Opera House in the background.
Yes, interesting, I like the composition you've created.
Fabulous. What a mix of old and new.
wonderful contrast. she must be beautiful when her sails are up. marvelous composition.
Great find two different vessels in contrast with the Opera house in background. Nice job!Joyce M

Gee I would like a wander around this beauty!
I'll take a tall ship any day over the box-like cruise ship. She's a beauty.

Well done Jim. nice contrast here, with the Opera House as a bonus..
Thank you for visiting my blog about the Austin, Tx opera house. I looked at several of your posts and they are all great. This is my favorite. I love sailing ships.
Love any view that includes a tall ship, they are so cool to see how tride and true engineering still works
