The Sydney Opera House was illuminated for the Vivid Sydney Festival, a festival of light, music and ideas which ran from 23 May to 9 June 2014. The animated artworks for this year's Lighting of the Sails projection were created by 59 Productions.

I didn't think the lights on buildings would look good, but the Opera House came up a treat. Very inventive festival!

ReplyDeleteThere are some huge light projectors on the balcony of the building on the opposite side of the harbour, near where I was standing to take the photos. Some large boats get in the way of the projection as they pass by.
