Barangaroo, Harbour Control Tower
The Sydney Ports Harbour Control Tower is located in the inner city suburb of Barangaroo. It was once used by the Sydney Harbour port facilities before they were moved to Port Botany. This photo which shows the exposed sandstone cliff was taken a few years ago. This area has now been extensively redeveloped into Barangaroo Reserve and I'll be showing that soon.
I love that name "Barangaroo". I believe that's what I will name my first-born child.

ReplyDeleteAs I said to Nick...Is there anything that your beautiful city does not have. I am SO impressed with Sydney and Melbourne. I just wish Australia was not at the other end of the world for us. The Harbour Tower makes me think of the one in Seattle. There are so different, but they both so way up into the air
