This giant snow globe has been installed in the centre court of the Market City shopping centre, above Paddy's Markets at Haymarket. This 6 metres high, 8.5 metres wide life-size snow globe features a Christmas scene with powerful air-conditioning units and snow machines to keep things cool.
The size is amazing... definitely a draw for photographers.

What a cool concept! Yes, I know it's a commerce kind of thing, but, nonetheless, cool!
DeleteNow someone who shakes it. Nice idea.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing missing in these globes is the fake snow falling all about the scene...Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteRalph, it's difficult to see in the photo but there actually was fake snow blowing around in there.
DeleteWell, that is very creative! How unique!
ReplyDeletecan you shake it and make the snow fall?
ReplyDeleteYou can, if you're a giant. ;)
DeleteAmazing piece of public art for the festive season. It is huge. Love how it has been placed in the fall of light.
ReplyDeleteWow that is amazing. Sydney (at least that part) saw a White christmas. Happy New Year.
