What a gorgeous spot to live, but I get it is very costly for the property $$$$$. I think it would be heavenly to look out my window and see water like this. Beautiful.
Jeannette, waterfront properties are expensive although this area is further away from the city so is more affordable than properties around Sydney Harbour.
I am not familiar with the name Yowie Bay, but it looks like my favourite fantasy for life after retirement. To live in waterside home with a ramp that will handle a family boat. However I would pull down that garage right away... nothing should block the view of the water from the back veranda.
Looks like the lake housing at every lake in the states as well.
