This bus shelter is located along Coward Street, in the eastern suburb of Mascot. It combines as an entrance to Lionel Bowan Park, named in honour of Lionel Bowen, a former Deputy Prime Minister and Attorney General of Australia.
A nice colourful multitasking Bus Shelter Jim. Must be a female bus shelter as males can only do one thing at a time. I always tell my wife that monotasking is a scientifically proven fact in men
A very unusual shelter to my eyes.
ReplyDeleteNice find!
ReplyDeleteTwo purposes in one sounds like a functional way to go and cost effective for the city.
ReplyDeleteThat gives a lot of nice shade, Jim!
ReplyDeletereminds me of the Hollies song "Bus Stop"
ReplyDeleteIs the roof solar?
ReplyDeleteFrankly My Dear
No, just glass but that would be a good idea for powering park lamps.

ReplyDeleteWe have bus stops here that are covered, but nothing compared to this.
ReplyDeleteHi Jim, This shady cover looks like a nice place to stay in the shade if one is waiting for a bus etc. A good blue entry for Blue Monday.
