Farm Cove, Man O'War Jetty

This view of the Man O'War Steps and Jetty towards Farm Cove and the Royal Botanic Gardens is from the steps of the Sydney Opera House. Quite a few things happening here in the Botanic Gardens with installations for the Vivid Sydney Festival, floral displays for the 200th anniversary of the gardens and the Trackless Train near the Queen Elizabeth II Gates.

  1. Why is it called that, after a ship that was moored there?

    1. Yes, Bill. The Man O'War was a ship which was moored nearby in Sydney Harbour. Click on the link to read more info.

  2. A good perch. It occurs to me that we see so many views of the Opera House and not that many from the Opera House!
