The Eastern Pontoon wharf and Bennelong Apartments at East Circular Quay viewed from the ferry terminal wharves at Circular Quay. A wider view which shows the proximity to the Sydney Harbour Bridge can be seen here.
Yes, Denton, probably the most expensive apartments in Sydney. We don't use that term condominiums in Australia. We generally just use the term apartments for all high rises, no matter whether they are owned or rented and the terms flat or unit for smaller blocks.
Those apartments certainly look as if they are packed tight together. I like the wave effect of the facade to break the feeling of a long and intimidating wall.
Those people in the appartment must have a wonderul view. Lovely reflections. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU and I hope 2027 will be a very healthy year for you also.
Wow, a beautiful apartment building! (saw your reply to Denton. When we started living in a condo we had a hard time explaining what it exactly was. I would say now, it's is a tiny house within the space of an apartment. We had 2 bedrooms, 2 full bath rooms, 2 halls (one hall for 2 huge closets), living room and kitchen, each had a private patio outside, attached to their living space). Thank you much for sharing this bright and beautiful coastal view with ALL SEASONS. Have a great week!
Not a bad view from here I should think!
ReplyDeleteFine scene
ReplyDeleteIt looks like good weather there!
ReplyDeleteThose have to high dollar with the Habor Brudge view. Interesting they are apartments instead of condos.

ReplyDeleteYou scared me there for a second, thinking it's 2027 rather than 2017. :P
DeleteIt is an expensive place to live. But the views are spectacular.
ReplyDeleteLovely!
