Pyrmont, Johnstons Bay

The view across Johnstons Bay to the North Shore, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the inner city suburb of Pyrmont is from the walkway on Anzac Bridge. Waterfront Park can be seen along the foreshore and the disused swing bridge, Glebe Island Bridge, is seen permanently open in the foreground.

  4. This is so cool! There is a piece of concrete over the ship. Does that have a meaning?

  5. Oh, wow, Jim. Every now and then a photo of that bridge will take me right back to my one and only trip to Australia. Hard to believe it was 35 years ago, but I took my young brother with me, and he was 14 then. I'd like to get back down under again, but I don't much like long plane trips, and an ocean voyage would take about three weeks. Sigh.
