This mural is painted on the side of a record shop along Goulburn Street, between Crown Street and Arnold Lane, in the inner city suburb of Darlinghurst. The wall of "Record Store" has featured a number of different murals over the years. This rainbow coloured mural with two hands forming a love heart has recently been installed as part of the Marriage Equality campaign which Australia is currently voting on.
Very colourful!
ReplyDeleteLove it. At first glance I thought it was a festy rooster. Then I noticed the hands. I've got to hand it to you - good job!
ReplyDeleteLovely mural. Hope it does it's part in swaying people towards voting for marriage equality.

ReplyDeleteMost unusual and colorful. You find some of the best murals ever.
ReplyDeleteThanks, LV. They catch my eye and I stop to photograph them.
DeleteI like this. Hope the election goes well. Love should be a right for all.
ReplyDeleteThe mural is a most interesting work regardless of it's message.
ReplyDeleteNice to learn about the marriage equality campaign. And that's a great mural for the message. The hands are beautifully done and the colours make them so attractive. Great find, Jim. :)
ReplyDeleteVery cool. I noticed the heart is centered over the red section. I heart it. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
