This scouts hall is located at the corner of the Windsor Street and Elizabeth Street, in the inner eastern suburb of Paddington. It was built in 1926 and is still home to the 1st Woollahra/Paddington Scout Group and now also the offices of architects and interior designers in the shopfront.

It's the rooftop details that particularly catch my eye.
ReplyDeleteSuch a dear Pacific building, Jim!
ReplyDeleteThat scout troop has a great home. Bet the members appreciate their building.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see that the architects have not tried to 'modernize' this building too much!
ReplyDeleteWhile it hasn't been heritage listed, I do hope they will preserve it.
DeleteA nice oldie :)
