This is part of a mural on the side wall of a backpackers hostel on the corner of Chalmers Street and Cleveland Street, in the inner city suburb of Redfern. It features Australian blue tongue lizards and a Sulphur-crested cockatoo.

ReplyDeleteStayed in some hostels in Spain a couple of weeks ago. None with murals that I recall.
ReplyDeleteSuch great local “critters” on that mural.
ReplyDeleteThe lizards are beautifully done. Thanks for participating Jim.
ReplyDeleteBEautiful! And what a difference it does to the building!
ReplyDeleteThe blue tongues seem a bit out of proportion with the cockatoo.

Great and nice mural Jim.
ReplyDelete...those lizards are HUGE!
ReplyDeleteAre the lizards really blue (not just their tongues)? Reptiles are so amazing -- this mural is really clever.
