St James Anglican Church

St James Anglican Church is located along King Street, with this view from Macquarie Street. This heritage listed church was designed by convict architect Francis Greenway in the Old Colonial Regency style. It is the oldest church building in Sydney and has been in continuous use from its consecration in 1824.

  3. Hello, it is a pretty church. Seems out of place with the taller buildings nearby. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day. Have a great weekend ahead!

    1. My thoughts exactly. Beautiful Regency architecture, well preserved, surrounded by incompatible modernity.
