Botanic Gardens, flowers

The spring flowers are in full bloom in the flower beds at the base of this tree, near the Henry Lawson Gate in the Royal Botanic Gardens. The Aloe Tree or Aloidendron barberae is a native of South Africa.

  1. Nice to know that it's always spring somewhere. :-)

  2. Nice. I'm going to really miss spring in a month or so when we get winter weather.

  3. This is the time of year when I begin to get a bit jealous of you folks down under. We'll be just 10 degrees above freezing this weekend.
Thanks for sharing your springtime at

  4. You're a bit ahead of me here in NZ, but you give me hope that spring will arrive sometime soon! That tree is quite unique.

It's great to see your post on 'My Corner of the World' this week!
