Zetland, Green Square Library

Green Square Library is located along Botany Road, in the inner city suburb of Zetland. Green Square Library and Plaza were designed by Stewart Hollenstein in association with Stewart Architecture and built in 2018.

  1. Frankly that thing in the middle leaves me confused. What is its function? It seems rather strange.
    Clearly I don't "get it".
    Thanks for sharing at

    1. Sue, do you mean the tall planter box near the entrance with the flowers growing in it?

  2. Green Square Library looks very inviting to the older generation that still uses libraries. But what do today's students do, given that they don't read books as much as their parents would have wanted.

  3. Reminds me of IM Pei's addition to the Louvre. I like it.

  4. There's something about glass buildings that make me smile. Love this one :)

It's great to see you joining us on 'My Corner of the World' this week!
