Always fun to hang out in a bird-watching blind for both the birds to see and photograph, and the other bird watchers to meet. They are always an interesting bunch.
Thanks for introducing me to the North American term "blind", which is known as a "hide" elsewhere.
That would be a nice thing to install in Melbourne water treatment plant area
A handy thing for bird watchers.
A handy spot, perhaps they should paint it green so it blends in.
I thought the same thing. They usually are green, brown or beige.
The ones I’ve seen are wooden.
...great hiding place.
Very cool. I love to bird watch. Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop. Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ☺
I didn't know we had these - and have to google where Sandrinham is because I thought it was in VIC.
There is also one in the wetlands of Bicentennial Park in Homebush Bay.
That one seems to be quite modern, I thought it was some fancy architectural building!
Wow ! that looks beautiful , we have never seen this kind of bird watching blind in our region. Thanks for sharing with Garden Affair.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Please leave me a message. Jim.
