This war memorial is located in Union Square, on the corner of Harris Street and Miller Street, in the inner city suburb of Pyrmont. The four-sided monument is made of trachyte on a base of sandstone and is topped with a bronze statue of a female figure representing 'peace'. The Pyrmont an Ultimo Great War Memorial was unveiled in 1922.
