Leichhardt, Presbyterian Church

This heritage listed former Presbyterian Church is located along Marion Street, in the inner west suburb of Leichhardt. It was built in 1885 with a façade of Romanesque inspired details including coloured bricks which are now painted. The church functions ceased in 1980 and it is now used as a child care centre.

  2. That is an adorable building! I love the pink bricks, and how they cast those shadows.

  4. Good to see the place being cared for and used gainfully in its new life, Jim. Thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.

  5. Both churches are identified with their façade of Romanesque details but they are quite different. Did one architect design both facades?
