This ferry has departed from Circular Quay ferry wharf and is travelling past Bennelong Apartments towards the Sydney Opera House. It is an Emerald class ferry operated by Sydney Ferries which entered service on Sydney Harbour in 2017. It is named Bungaree for an Aboriginal Australian from the Broken Bay area, who was known as an explorer, entertainer and community leader.
The ferries are all very good! I took one to the zoo on a visit to Sydney,

ReplyDeleteIs the water always smooth and comfortable for open ferries?
ReplyDeleteThe water is usually calm and provide a comfortable ride. Some severe storms would prevent them from running.
