Forest Lodge, sculptures


These sculptures of birds and flowers are in a garden in Harold Park, near Cullen Close in the inner city suburb of Forest Lodge. Harold Park Paceway was a harness racing track which was redeveloped in 2015 to create high density residential buildings and recreation space.

Cronulla, sculpture


This sculpture and sign is located along the path in Dunningham Park, in the southern suburb of Cronulla. It is behind the beach at North Cronulla and marks the Cronulla Beaches National Surfing Reserve. It was declared in 2008 to acknowledge the surfing way of life, linking past, present and future generations with the ocean, waves and coastline.

This beach is the southernmost patrolled beach in the southern suburb of Cronulla. It is simply known as Cronulla Beach but is also referred to as South Cronulla Beach. Cronulla Pavilion and Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club overlook the beach.

Cronulla, Stella Maris chapel

 
The Stella Maris chapel is on the corner of Coast Avenue and Ingalara Avenue in the southern suburb of Cronulla. It is part of an aged care facility which has views of the ocean. Stella Maris is Latin for "Star of the Sea". The chapel features a prominent star in a hole in the brickwork of the facade, revealing the sky behind it.

Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club is located at South Cronulla Beach, in the southern suburb of Cronulla. The original art deco building was designed by A.B. Polin in a European Functionalist style and built in 1940 at the southern end of Cronulla Park.

Cronulla Pavilion is located at South Cronulla Beach, in the southern suburb of Cronulla. The art deco building was designed by A.B. Polin in a European Functionalist style and built in 1940 at the southern end of Cronulla Park. It now houses the lifeguard patrol, a personal training gym and a cafe.

This artwork is on the wall of a lift well in the roof top car park along Croydon Street, in the southern suburb of Cronulla. It was created by Alex Grilz in 2019 as part of the Walk the Walls Street Art Festival where established and emerging street artists were recruited to paint murals, as part of a large crime prevention program to stop graffiti and vandalism.

Eveleigh, sign


This giant Pride sign is located outside the International Business Centre in the inner city suburb of Eveleigh. It has been used for displays during the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival but sits here for the rest of the year.
