The former Pyrmont Public School is a heritage listed building in John Street, in the inner west suburb of Pyrmont. It was designed by William Kemp and built in 1891 in the Victorian Italianate style.
Don't know what they'd use it for these days. Back then, all schools probably had bell towers for the school bell, to alert students that class was resuming.
Any building with a tower is always attractive to me! That is a nice one.
ReplyDeleteInteresting looking building. Wonder what they use the tower for.
