Conservatorium Road, King Edward VII

Conservatorium Road leads to the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, the Royal Botanic Gardens and Government House. This statue of King Edward VII on horseback is located on a traffic island, in the middle of Conservatorium Road.

  1. Your shots continue to inspire.
    Thank you!
Be sure to visit My Muskoka is pretty cloudy, and wet! Snow next week, they think!

  2. I have not visited for a bit and went back and looked at all the days. I appreciated the bridge pix and the early pix of the dust storm especially. The conservatory looks good. Don't know of famous Aussie composers or musicians. Saw a disturbing article in the paper on koalas. Somrthing about dying by the dozens due to stress. Do you know anything about this?

  3. Lee, I'm not sure what that article was about exactly but I do know that a lot of koala habitat is threatened by urban sprawl. It's terrible and a lot of Australian native species are threatened or endangered.

  4. Nice shot, we were recently there when our granddaughter played in the Sydney Junior Youth Orchestra.
    Really nice concert hall.

  5. Thanks for the visit and comment. Lovely image! Happy Skywatching!

  6. It's a magnificent statue. I love that blue sky behind it!

Thanks for visiting my blog. Please leave me a message. Jim.
