Stine, the beaches along Bate Bay at Cronulla stretch about six kilometres. Green Hills is far from roads and car parks and is not patrolled by lifesavers. If you're willing to walk along the beach or the sand dunes to get there, you can swim here without many people around.
JBar:Sorry I haven't been on your site for a while. Caught up on your cool posts, sunset over railwaythe neat art work and lane, etc. Incredible diversity on your site. glad to hear from you. Btw. ReplyDeleteThe beaches of Cronulla were a regular hangout in my youth. Almost every weekend from October to April and almost every day in the summer holidays.

ReplyDeleteThat sounds nice. I grew up in the country so I march by the beat of a different drum.
ReplyDeleteStrange to know that the Audley Weir is closed this morning due to flooding, having only been down there last weekend!!
The beach is deserted. I guess it's not quite warm enough for the crowds. It's a beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful stretch of beach, perfect for an introspective long walk. :)
