Circular Quay, Overseas Passenger Terminal

This cruise ship was docked at the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay yesterday. We're in peak cruise season for Sydney at the moment, with many cruise ships docked around Sydney Harbour in recent days including the Albatros seen here at Circular Quay, Queen Mary 2 at Wolloomooloo on Monday and Dawn Princess at Barangaroo on the weekend.

  2. Sydney, and Circular Quay in particular, would be a grand stop for a cruise. What a spectacular sight to sail into the harbor past the Opera House and alongside the Harbor Bridge.

  3. Thanks for commenting at "My World" post! We've been to Sydney and loved it! What amazed us is that you swim and have beaches in the harbor! Not here in New York City! :)

  8. What a busy port. I guess it makes it all the busier when so many of us have cold winter weather while you are experiencing summer and fall.

  16. Beautiful water and fabulous ship! I love to gaze at cruise ships but don't really like to cruise...beyond a harbor cruise. I feel mighty small out there in the BIG ocean!

  19. Aren't they large?! Guess it might be true, at least partly, that mankind is intelligent because having fingers, to be able to build such imposant things - and taking pictures of it as well ;)

    Please have a nice Wednesday.
