Fire Water was a performance at The Rocks which was part of the Vivid Sydney festival. The finale featured this tall ship entering Campbells Cove with glowing light installations, sailors descending down on aerialist tissus, cranes unloading glowing barrels into the harbour and billows of colourful smoke bursting forth. It recreated the 1797 trip of a tall ship from Calcutta to Sydney, for the merchant Robert Campbell.

How many of these beautiful photos do you have? Are they going to repeat it next year so I plan my holidays?
ReplyDeleteAnn, I'm close to the end of my series of Vivid Sydney shots. The festival was a success again this year, so I'm quite sure it will be on again next year. It brings a lot of people into the city in Winter, so businesses love it. Keep an eye on the Vivid Sydney website if you want to plan a holiday next year.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that Sydney could turn on such a magic show, I hope I can make it there next year.
ReplyDeleteWow, fantastic. Wish I could have been there!
