Lovely pavilion -- we like to visit botanical gardens. Get to admire other people's work and take pictures (my kind of gardening nowdays).
ReplyDeleteThis shelter is beautiful! I like shape, it has the look of a turret on a castle, the roof now looking even older, and thus more classic, feeling as if was designed centuries ago. A stunner!
ReplyDeleteWhat stories the pavilion could tell! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful design. It looks like a good spot to rest if the grass is too damp.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed a lovely pavilion! And a wonderful place to take photos and enjoy the gardens! I know I'd love to spend some time there! Hope you have a great week, Jim!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
do you get very hot summers?
ReplyDeleteOh, a great place to get out of the sun.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place.
ReplyDeletebeautiful design.
ReplyDeleteAnn, yes we do. It can get to over 40 degrees celsius in Sydney.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I have seen a lot of different pavilions but none as lovely as this.
ReplyDeleteThe Road to Here
Really solid but pretty structure and it must be just the right cool place to go, after some time in the hot Australian sun.
ReplyDeleteShould be more of them in this style.
ReplyDeleteIt is a pretty gazebo, I th roof and the shape. Thanks for sharing, a lovely photo.
ReplyDeleteReally nice. Now where is Bilbo Baggins?
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely pavilion! Perhaps bands were played in it on summer days?
ReplyDeleteand very handy it is too Jim, the last time Aimee and I were in Sydney visiting the Botanical Gardens, it pelted down, there were about 20 of us like sardines in that Vista Pavilion, great fun.
ReplyDeletelotusleaf, I have actually seen a small wedding service being performed just outside the pavilion with drinks and snacks set up for guests inside.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo, I love the colors and the framing.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't mind another visit to that part of Our World again... :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining PicStory with this lovely pavillion :)
