Botanic Gardens, Vista Pavilion

The Vista Pavilion is an octagonal shelter pavilion located in the Royal Botanic Gardens. It was designed by Government Architect Walter Vernon and built in 1907.

  1. Lovely pavilion -- we like to visit botanical gardens. Get to admire other people's work and take pictures (my kind of gardening nowdays).

  2. This shelter is beautiful! I like shape, it has the look of a turret on a castle, the roof now looking even older, and thus more classic, feeling as if was designed centuries ago. A stunner!

  12. and very handy it is too Jim, the last time Aimee and I were in Sydney visiting the Botanical Gardens, it pelted down, there were about 20 of us like sardines in that Vista Pavilion, great fun.

  13. lotusleaf, I have actually seen a small wedding service being performed just outside the pavilion with drinks and snacks set up for guests inside.
