Oatlands, golf club

This fountain is located outside the Oatlands Golf Club, in the north western suburb of Oatlands. The Oatlands Golf Course, which was opened in 1931, is known for such annual events as the NSW Women's Open Championship.

  1. Nice one Jim, would love to ride around the golf course in one of these little buggies, not play golf, just the buggy thing!!

  2. Good capture!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

  3. I've tried golf a couple of times but never got the hang of it. The U.S. Women's Open was held at a club in my town this year. Nice shot1

  4. Delightful facade tone that seems soft and inviting! And the fountain feature is delightful!

  5. What a pretty spot, Jim!

  6. Beautiful shot of a beautiful club. I'm sure your upcoming photos are going to be gorgeous. As dry as it's been here, I'm hoping for a pretty fall.. hugs ~lynne~

  7. Ann, I'm not entirely sure whether it dates back to 1931 or is a reproduction. It could be restored and remodelled.

  8. I love the architecture of this building :)

  9. The building looks so typically Australian!
