This heritage building is located along Darling Street, in the inner west suburb of Balmain. It was designed by James Barnet with elements of Victorian Academic Classical, Victorian Free Classical and Victorian Italianate architectural styles. The building was completed in 1887 and contains the Balmain Post Office with a clock tower, the Balmain Court House with a dome and the Balmain Police Station.
A grand, multi-purpose public building.
