The 18th annual Sculpture by the Sea outdoor sculpture exhibition ran from 23 October to 9 November 2014. The sculptures were located on the cliff along the two kilometre coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama. "To Take Care Of" by Hanna Streefkerk was one of the oddest sculptures this year, which basically consisted of rocks partly covered in low-cut socks clustered together in a few spots on the cliff at Bondi. The view looking out over Bondi Bay towards North Bondi is more impressive.
Sort of sculptures I'd call a peice of crap then and they call it art

The colour is legendary and "Bondi Blue" was the name used by Apple for the exterior of its original iMac G3 personal computer when it was introduced in 1998.
DeleteInteresting, Jim...Love the blue water and sky. I would never have known this was art...looks like just plain rocks to me! ;-)
ReplyDeleteQuite curious.... but what a view!
ReplyDeleteWilliam, I am with you. Silly socks but ohhhhhh what a view. This spot overlooking Bondi Bay towards North Bondi is the best spot in the Eastern Suburbs..
DeleteThe sculpture exhibition is such a cool idea and always looks like a good day out.
ReplyDeleteI'm not too into this one, Jim!
