St Jude's Cemetery is located along The Avenue, in the eastern suburb of Randwick. These monuments and gravestones in this historic cemetery, sit behind St Jude's Anglican Church.
The shadows fall upon a cemetery which might match the mood of the mourners - and we hope that the strong sun at least adds comfort and strength to all present...
Very pretty and such wonderful details and textures too. There are some cemeteries I would like to shoot, but would prefer it not to be 90 with 70% humidity or more.
Very nice Jim.
ReplyDeleteJim, those are some big monuments, for sure. Must be someone important!

ReplyDeleteMost did back then and most still do in Australia today although nowhere near as elaborate as these.
DeleteWho is buried in the impressive tomb? Quite a statement being made there!
