This New Zealand Fur Seal is a regular visitor to the foreshore steps of the Sydney Opera House. It is seen here napping and sun-baking in the midday sun yesterday.
Nice photo here. One thing about seals - they make me feel skinny! Thanks for sharing at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2016/10/springtime-memories.html
Aw cute, give him a fish
ReplyDeleteQuite a critter!
ReplyDeleteI think he's cute!
ReplyDeleteHow nice to meet one!
ReplyDeleteI guess we don't just export dairy and meat anymore :) . I should be in Sydney sometime later this month (but I'm not taking him home!)
ReplyDeleteOh, we don't have those here! Nice to see.
ReplyDeleteIt would be so cool to see one of these, We have harbor seals, elephant seals and sea lions in California.
ReplyDeleteBaking in the sun fits best I am sure.

That is wonderful to see, Jim!
ReplyDeleteNice one! All the years I lived in Sydney I never saw a seal. There are plenty down here in Tassie though. Mostly Australian Fur Seals.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Not something I ever see. I guess it's spring down under?
