Glebe, St James Hall
St James Hall is located on the corner of Woolley Street and St James Street, near St James Catholic Church, in the inner city suburb of Glebe. It was built in 1940 and houses the church hall on the lower level and school classrooms on the upper level for St James Catholic School. In the far distance you can see a glimpse of Sydney Tower which gives you an idea of the distance of this suburb from the city..
Not as refined as your earlier churches but then it was built as late as 1940, and it had to provide suitable facilities for school children upstairs.
