Newtown, mural

This is part of a mural painted on the side of a shop and restaurant on the corner of Church Street and King Street, in the inner city suburb of Newtown. The main mural depicts two people using a tin can telephone created by street artist Fintan MageeThe blue and red patterned artwork above was created by graffiti artist Elliott Routledge also known as NumskullA view from a further distance can be seen here.

  1. Hi Jim, I love this and all the murals you share with us. Have a great day. Jo

  2. Fine art on a wall. Who wouldn't love this? Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

  3. Fintan Magee is a wonderful artist! His murals are always huge and very well painted.

  4. Retro wi-fi connection? Impressive mural and photo of same.

  5. I am always amazed at how the mural artist can keep everything in proper perspective.

  6. Hello Jim, We have been out of town and this comment is late. We were in FL to see the last Gator football game for the year. It is a 10 hr. drive both ways and it is a relief to be home to stay.

This Mural is pretty interesting considering the tin can telephone. LOL. Maybe it should have been children with the tin cans. Smile. At any rate,it is always fun to see your posts.

    Happy Blue Monday.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Please leave me a message. Jim.
