These two Australian blue tongue lizards are part of a new mural on the side wall of a backpackers hostel on the corner of Chalmers Street and Cleveland Street, in the inner city suburb of Redfern.
This is a good reminder for me to keep my eyes more open when I'm out for lunch from my self storage facility! Those colours on the street would be a good pick me up after a day at work!
so nice
ReplyDeleteI was just there Jim, how on earth did I miss this one! It's pretty fabulous!
ReplyDeleteGrace, it was only completed two weeks ago. If your visit was that recent, you would have seen it if you drove east along Cleveland Street.
DeleteGreat artwork!
ReplyDeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteMurals like these can really dress up a plain building.
ReplyDeleteNice artwork. Some people are so talented.
ReplyDeleteA good thing there are bars at the windows downstairs ;-) It protects them from the giant lizards ;-)
ReplyDeleteCool street art, Jim. Thanks for participating in Blue Monday!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great mural, but I would not want to meet up with one of these lizards in the wild.
