I love the ornate top halves... the shop windows and verandas need painting and reducing in junk.
Agree. The Dry Cleaner and Thai Restaurant need an update so they don't detract from the facade's beauty.
I like the store front. It reminds me of my trip to Cairns many years ago and to some of the smaller towns around there. Happy New Year!

William, I'm sure that gentrification will lead to the shops themselves being refurbished sometime in the near future.
