The Liberal Catholic Church of St Alban is located along Stanley Street in the inner city suburb of Darlinghurst. The original St Alban's Cathedral was located in Redfern. This church was built in the late 1960s after the original cathedral was sold and demolished.

Fitting right in. I like that entrance.
ReplyDelete...looks like everyone walks to church.
ReplyDeleteIts inner city so parkimg is at a premium. It's within a stone's throw from the city.
DeleteI like the doorway, but I wonder does liberal catholic church mean they are more open minded than the average catholic?
ReplyDeleteAmy, it apparently sits somewhere between the Catholic and Anglican churches.
DeleteHello Jim!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful contemporary architecture. Actually, very original.
