Paddington Town Hall

Paddington Town Hall is located on the corner of Oxford Street and Oatley Road, in the inner city suburb of Paddington. This heritage listed building was designed by John Edward Kemp and built in 1891 in the Victorian Free Classical architectural style.

  1. I figured it out-Google Chrome does not let me comment on Blogger (go figure), but in Safari, I can! Anyway, interesting perspective of the building (wide angle lens?). So many arches!

    1. Paula, this one was taken on my Samsung mobile phone which can take amazing shots these days. I don't understand why Google are making it harder for people to comment on Blogger. Glad to see you back.

  2. The Town Hall has a rather spectacular clock tower, which reminds me of an equally spectacular church steeple. [Of course I am aware that this town hall never had a religious role].
