The Domain, NSW Police Wall of Remembrance

The NSW Police Wall of Remembrance is located in the Crescent Precinct of The Domain. It was erected in 1999 for New South Wales police officers who have lost their lives in the course of their duty. The front of the memorial with the list of police officers' names can be seen here. City buildings including Sydney Tower can be seen in the distance.

  1. Appropriately dignified.

We have a similar idea mounted outside our Parliament.

  2. That's awesome, the police, well most of them do a good job despite the flack they get.

  3. ...sad that such a large wall is necessary.

  4. It is sad that we need such walls at all. I'm glad they are being remembered though, Jim.

  5. Fine looking memorial for those who died in service to the public. As Tom said, this is sad.

  6. It looks such a long wall ... hopefully the other side isn't full with names, yet.

    1. There are quite a few names listed but thankfully it isn't full.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Please leave me a message. Jim.
