New South Wales Masonic Club

The New South Wales Masonic Club is located along Castlereagh Street. This heritage listed building was designed by C. W. Chambers and built in 1925 in the Inter-war Commercial Palazzo architectural style. The twelve storey sandstone building was built by the Masonic Lodge as a Gentleman's Club with a notable double volume main Dining Room. The upper levels featured hotel type rooms, now known as the Castlereagh Boutique Hotel.

  2. Nice architecture. I like how the color has aged over the years.

  4. Terrific photo. You got yourself so perfectly square in front of it, it almost looks two-dimensional, like a false front or a movie set. Great perspective, shadows, light, angles. Love it.
