The view from the entrance of Bardwell Park railway station, looking down to the platform, in the southern suburb of Bardwell Park. The station opened in 1931 when the East Hills line opened from Tempe to East Hills. It is now served by Sydney Trains T8 Airport & South Line services.

A good perspective on the station, Jim.
ReplyDeleteNice composition! The station looks great for its age.
ReplyDelete...but no one is on the platform.
ReplyDeleteIt's quiet on a Sunday afternoon but I took the photo right after trains had departed in both directions.
DeleteLooks similar to the one in Stanwood. The passenger train comes through twice a day and freight ones at anytime.
