Tablet House is located between Refinery Drive and Refinery Square off Bowman Street, in the inner west suburb of Pyrmont. This heritage listed building was built in 1908 in the Federation style as a warehouse for the Colonial Sugar Refining (CSR) Co Ltd, which had a major sugar mill, sugar refinery, rum distillery and building products manufactured here. In 2000, it was adaptively converted to residential as part of the Jacksons Landing development.

A beautiful structure, and a good use for it.
ReplyDeleteCool perspective!
ReplyDeleteNo wasted decorative elements here :) And great natural light coming in.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely passes as a warehouse. But as a residence? Hmm. . .
ReplyDeleteVery nice - I was guessing a converted warehouse when I saw it. Those huge windows would be great!
ReplyDeleteNice cloud reflections in the upper windows. I think this old warehouse building is making fine flats. I'd like living there if it had elevators.
