This church hall is located on the corner of Ponyara Road and Warrawee Place, in the southern suburb of Beverly Hills. It stands opposite the Regina Coeli Memorial Church.
Billy, the suburb was established in 1931 and the church opposite was built in 1946, so I don't think this building ever was a church. I'd say it was built as the hall and extended later.
Quite colourful!
ReplyDeleteLampposts are looking like the sign of cross also!
ReplyDelete...a nice building that was built to last.
ReplyDeleteAn old hall with modern extension, could have been a church once

Good Day, A very interesting and colorful building.
ReplyDeleteI like the color blocks in the windows. Simple but eye-catching.
ReplyDeleteBright colors, bold shadows---what more could one ask? Thanks, Jim.
ReplyDeleteNot what I expected. Are the colorful windows for the Sunday school?
ReplyDeleteLinda, I don't think it was extended specifically for Sunday school but this is most likely where it is held.
