Putney, Kissing Point, pontoon
This pontoon is at Kissing Point along the north shore of the Parramatta River, in the north western suburb of Putney. Rivendell School, formerly the Thomas Walker Convalescent Hospital, stands on the southern shore, in the western suburb of Concord West.
That is a pretty skyline photo. The pontoon looks like it is dedicated to a given user, perhaps a ferry company? It's a long walk for the handicapped.

DeleteJim, I believe it's just a public pontoon for anyone who wants to use it. There is a bigger wharf for ferries nearby.
